In the September of 2008, in accordance with the instructions of Tianjin FAW, the previous state-owned Tianjin Micro Car Industry & Trade Co., Ltd was changed into a limited liability company which is solely invested by the legal person of Tianjin FAW and was renamed Tianjin FAW so as to further rationalize the property rights relationships of the enterprise.
The company has registered capital of RMB 23,530,000 and covers an area of 46,000 square meters with construction area more than 20,000 square meters. Its main businesses are to make the OEM production of stamping parts, welding assembly and interior trim parts, retrofit gas vehicles and offer employee’s bus and official car service etc for Tianjin FAW. According to the 11th Five-year Plan, Brilliant Company will develop into the base of auto parts and components under the leadership of Tianjin FAW.
The subordinate integrated parts processing factory of the company is mainly engaged in the production-manufacturing of auto welding assembly and interior trim parts. The gas vehicles retrofitting workshop mainly goes in for the business of the serial auto gas system retrofitting of Tianjin FAW. The vehicle management service center is mainly engaged in the businesses such as the employee’s bus and official car service etc.
The company’s investment holding company, Tianjian Xiali Auto Parts Co., Ltd, covers an area of 81,818 square meters with construction area of 41,450 square meters. It is the professional manufacturer for Tianjin FAW, which has the professional punching production line and punching machines, as well as various welding devices and has the ability to process auto-body repairing and assembly & welding parts.
Tianjin Daigong Automotive Seats Co., Ltd, funded and shared by the company, is a joint venture set up by the company together with Shanghai Dymek Interior Trim Parts Co., Ltd. The automotive seats produced by it have covered the serial automobiles of Tianjin FAW, such as Xiali, NBC and Weizhi etc. It can produce the component parts for assembly of 300,000 automobiles annually. It is the only one supplier for the automotive assorted seats of Tianjin FAW, who has the ability to produce auxiliary parts for 300,000 automobiles annually.
