Inspection Capability

Through years of construction and development, Tianjin FAW R&D Center (Tianjin Automotive Research Institute) has currently acquired a certain capacity for product test. Its main laboratories include engine and emission laboratory, strength and reliability laboratory and road laboratory.

Its accredited and authorized test and measuring institutions include Test Center of Tianjin Automotive Research Institute (accredited by CNACL), Tianjin Institute of Supervision, Inspection, Appraisal and Test of Cars, The 46th Test and Measuring Station of Tianjin Technical Supervision Bureau, etc. They are capable of testing more than 100 varieties of products such as whole car, emission, chassis, engine, electric appliances and body accessories according to relevant state, industrial and corporate standards and corresponding international standards, and undertaking work such as supervision and inspection of quality of car products, product type approval test, consignment test, quality arbitration test, formulation and revision of standards, development special instruments and equipment and technical consultation of tests.
