Q1: What are the advantages of automatic transmission?
A1: A car with an automatic transmission needs no clutch, and the driver need not shift gears. The automatic shift transmits the torque steadily to the wheels through the hydraulic torque converter to make drive easy and sitting comfortable. Automatic transmission can reduce emission pollution.
Q2: What is four-speed transmission with lock-up clutch?
A2: To improve fuel efficiency, there is a lock-up clutch in the torque converter of the transmission, whose fourth gear is overdrive. When the torque converter transmits energy in a hydraulic way, some liquid will hold up to cause loss of energy. The lock-up clutch connects the pump impeller and turbine of the torque converter to prevent the loss of liquid and energy. The fourth gear is overdrive, which has gear ratio less than 1 and output
Q3: What kind of automatic transmission is controlled by ECU?
A3: A four-speed automatic transmission with lock-up clutch is electrically controlled by a computer. The computer accurately controlled the work of the transmission system and the lock-up clutch. Two control modes (normal and power) are available in the computer. The driver can select a proper mode to adapt to the road conditions by simply pressing a button. The safety diagnosis system and failure protection system in ECU enables the car to drive in case of failure of electrical control.revolution greater than that of engine. Addition of lock-up clutch and overdrive helps to decrease the revolution of the engine as well as further reduce noise and improve fuel efficiency.
Q4: What are the functions of the suspension system?
A4: The suspension system between the body (frame) and the wheels can absorb and reduce body vibration caused by ruggedness of roads together with the wheels. To protect passengers and baggage and improve drive comfort and control performance, the suspension system consists of basic components as follows:
Q5: What does the suspension system consists of?
A5:
- Spring: slowing down the vibration caused by roads.
- Vibration absorber: improve riding comfort by limiting the vibration amplitude of the spring.
- Antisway bar: stabilizing the body in a turn.
- Linkage: stabilizing the upper part of the body and controlling the longitudinal transverse movement of the wheels in drive, brake or turn.
Q6: Independent suspension system
A6: The left and right wheels of a car with an independent suspension system are not joined by the axle. It applies to the bodies and frames of the cars whose wheels can move independently without interaction. Therefore it is often used in the front wheels of minibuses and pick-ups and has been used in the rear wheels of minibuses recently.
Q7: Do you know how to use the wiper and washer of Vizi’s rear windscreen?
A7: Turn the handler knob upward to start the rear wiper. (Pos. 1) Make sure the key in the “ON” position, turn the handler knob upward or downward as far as possible (Pos. 2 or 3) to spray washing solution onto the rear windscreen. Release the knob to reset it automatically.
Q8: Need your car a repair?
A8: Note changes in the performance, sound and visual signals of your car, which may remind you whether your car need a repair and help you find out potential faults earlier. Hopefully, some important information as follows may be useful.
- Loss of unstable operation or strange sound of engine.
- Signs of decay of power.
- Abnormal noise.
- Leakage.
- Change in exhaust sound.
- Flat tires, strange sound of tires in turning and uneven abrasion of tires.
- Pulling to one side as running on a smooth road.
- Strange sound of the suspension system in motion.
- Degradation of brake performance, change in pedal position and brake side-slipping.
- Change in the cooling temperature of the engine.
In case of any of the above-mentioned circumstances, the car need an adjustment or repair.
Q9: Do you know how to replace Vizi’s air-conditioner filter?
A9: The steps of replacing the air-conditioner filter behind the tray are shown as follows:
- Press both sides of the tray to take it off.
- Take the filter box off from the outlet of the tray as the figure shows.
- Take the filter element off the filter box.
- Check the surface of the filter. (Clean it from behind through air compression if it is not very dirty, and replace it if it is)
